Born on 2 June 1963, she was known for her very generous heart, and especially her love of family and dogs. She loved hot sauce, spicy foods, gardening, and giving to others.
Regina was a proud graduate of James Madison University (JMU) and she was the first in her family to get a college degree. She was very excited when 3 of her nephews decided to attend JMU. She worked at several different companies as a software engineer, including at AT&T, the Center for Naval Analyses (CNA), FAA, and USDA. She was a dependable employee who always loved a challenge and solving problems.
With no children of her own, she was a devoted aunt to all her nieces and nephews. She attended countless events for all of them and contributed to all of their fundraisers. She was also a supporter of many other charities and a cherished friend who touched many lives.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Patricia (Susie) Jones and Ellen Niner, as well as her beloved dog Bart. She is survived by siblings Terry Fulcher, Donna Niner, Kathy Berens, Fred Niner, Richard Niner, Timmy Niner, and Colleen Madden. She also leaves countless nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Regina requested no funeral service, so the family will have a private internment at Oakwood Cemetery.
If you wish to honor Regina, please plant a tree or make a donation to your local animal shelter/rescue center. In fact a donation to any charity of your choosing would have made her happy.
