Robert Edward Grady

Robert E. Grady, (affectionately know as “Grady”) born August 6, 1946 in Midland, Texas passed away at age 72 on May 16, 2019 in Annandale, Virginia. He was preceded in death by parents Glen E. Grady and Mary D. Grady. Survivors are sister, Kerry G. Willings and her husband, William N. Willings of San Antonio, Texas; long time friends Mary and John Butcher; and numerous nieces and nephews. Grady attended Texas A&M University and was a Vietnam veteran in the U.S. Air Force. He was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in combat. He also received the Viet Nam Service Medal. His most cherished memories were those spent with his family, friends, American Legion Post #85, and playing music in numerous bands with local musicians. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151.
