

ROSE D. REVOIR SPRINGFIELD, VA- Rose Dolores Revoir, 87, with her Rosary in hand, left this world on May 10 with a pure heart and soul in the arms of the Blessed Virgin Mary to join her Lord and Savior in heaven. Surrounded by family and close friends, she died of natural causes at her home in Springfield, VA. One of nine children of the late George and Mary Rudy of Oxford, NJ, Rose was a parishioner of St. Bernadette's Catholic Church in Springfield, VA. She devoted her life to the care and education of children in need and assisted many persons in times of trouble. Rose practiced self-sacrifice so that she could provide assistance to countless many who sought her help. Beloved wife of the late Lt. Colonel Kenneth J. Revoir USAF and loving mother of her deceased daughter, Roseann Brodwater, of Summerville, SC, she is survived by three sisters, Dolly, Alice, and Anna, all of Warren County, NJ; three children: son, Kenneth, and daughter-in law, Shirley, of Copper Hill, VA, daughter Michelle and son-in-law, Michael, of North Ft. Myers, FL, and daughter, Renee, and son-in-law, Jack, of Mission Viejo, CA.; seven grandchildren, Melissa, Cary, Amanda, Daniel, Alicia, Kristen, Judson; six great grandchildren, Morgan, Brooke, Nathaniel, Anna Sophia, Keegan, Sasha Rose; and many devoted friends, especially Nick Trujillo of Oakton, VA., who cared for her during the last twenty years of her life. A funeral Mass for Rose, with family and close friends in attendance, was celebrated on May 15 at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church. A soloist with an accompanying organist sang the Latin songs/ psalms that she loved. Rose will be buried with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery at a date yet to be determined.
