Ruth Nefflen

Born February 5, 1937 in Barnesville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Claude Wilson and Maurine Smith Wilson Rodgers.

She married James “Jim” E. Nefflen on May 2, 1959 in Fort Valley, GA. She worked with the U.S. Government for 40+ years. Ruth was involved in the U.S. JCI Senate, Parkwood Baptist Church, Red Hat Society and Ladies of the Elks, earning many achievements and awards.

Ruth is preceded in death by her father, mother, 2 brothers and 1 sister, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is survived by her husband Jim, her son Jimmy, her daughter Lori (Tony), her grandson Skyler, 4 great grandchildren: Aegean, Ian, Aria and Ava, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, August 7th at Demaine Funeral Home, Springfield, VA at 1:00 pm. Funeral Services will be begin at 3:00 pm Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA with Pastor Daniel Dapaah of Parkwood Baptist Church officiating.

Ruth will be laid to rest at Potomac Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Keyser, WV.
