

Born in Washington, DC, June 16, 1946, he was the son of the late Leon Andrusia and Eleanor Fulbright Andrusia. Steve was a successful real estate agent for many years serving in the markets of northern Virginia, North Carolina and Florida and was an avid sports fan. He especially loved the Washington Redskins, Washington Nationals and the Florida State Seminoles. He was also an animal lover having had many special pets over the years. Steve also proudly served his country in the US Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Andrusia.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine W. Andrusia of Zion Crossroads; one son, Kevin Dennis Andrusia of Orlando, FL; one daughter, Marlene Anderson of Indian Harbour Beach, FL; one sister, Diane Andrusia of Arlington, VA; step-children, Marnie B. Whitten and Carlos James “CJ” Branham, Jr. both of Lynchburg, VA and five grandchildren, Tyler Jackson, Taylor Anderson, Cody Anderson, Avery Whitten and Andrew Whitten and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Demaine Funeral Home 5308 Backlick Rd., Springfield, VA after which the family will receive friends until 5:00 p.m.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Stephen’s favorite charities, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or the SPCA in your area.
