On May 2, 2011, of Springfield, VA; beloved wife of the late Stanley Fant; devoted and loving mother of Rebecca Jackson, Karen Fant, Steven Fant, and Valerie Fant Custer. She is also survived by her sons-in-law, Eden Jackson, Chris Pearson and Matthew Custer and her daughter-in-law, Lisa Fant, as well as 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 3:00 p.m., at Messiah United Methodist Church, 6215 Rolling Road, Springfield, VA. Friends may visit at a reception immediately following the memorial service at the Springfield Golf and Country Club, 8301 Old Keene Mill Road, Springfield, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Messiah United Methodist Church Endowment Fund, or the American Association of University Women Educational Opportunities Fund c/o Springfield-Annandale Branch of AAUW, 4202 Woodlark Drive, Annandale, VA 22003.
