William "Bill" Walter Wozniak

Age 77, passed away at his home in Rehobeth Beach, Delaware earlier this month. Bill was born on October 31, 1942 in Wilmington, Delaware to parents Walter and Alice Wozniak. Bill grew up in Wilmington and enjoyed science, swimming, and his polish roots. He went on to graduate from the University of Delaware and won several medals in swimming at the University, in the U.S. Junior Olympics, and a gold medal in the YMCA National Championship. Bill loved all things italian; fine wine and a good pasta were his weekly treat. Later in life he met his love Carmella "Carmen" Marie Romanelli and the two were wed on October 11, 1978. He was preceded in death by his wife Carmen and is survived by his family Kim Bosser, Robert Lewis, and Garth, Cathy, and Caitlin Jones. A private family service will be held at Stonewall Memorial Gardens in Manassas, Virginia on Monday, September 14, 2020. In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
