Barbara is survived by her sons, Robert Fox and David (Susie) Fox; grandchildren, Christopher (Lauren), Michael, Hannah, David Jr., and John; great granddaughter, Olivia; bonus grandchildren, Jordan, Lauren (John); and bonus great grandson, Matthew; and her faithful companion, Emma (her beloved Shih Tzu); and several nieces and nephews. Barb was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend to many.
Barbara was a faithful member of St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, and enjoyed decades as a member of Forest Hills Country Club.
First, and foremost, Barbara loved, and lived for, her family. She didn’t have to tell you how much she loved her family; you just knew. She spoke of her family with an undeniable, pride and passion. Spending time with her family was a source of great joy for Barbara.
Barbara loved to entertain in her home. She was a hostess extraordinaire, serving gourmet meals and delectable desserts. The table would be perfectly set, and the best of manners would be expected! She loved family get togethers; they never lasted long enough.
She was a sweet and sassy lady with a vibrant personality who was always dressed with a stylish flair, and never looked less than her best. She lived a very active life and was always on the go. She squeezed every drop of life, out of every day. She loved to work in her yard, it was every bit as meticulously planned and kept, as the inside of her home.
Barbara’s friends were very important to her. They enjoyed lunches, playing bridge, shopping, going to movies, and maybe a happy hour or two! Barbara leaves a legacy among her friends, and family, as being a meticulous housekeeper, decorator, and a woman of great dignity. A woman like Barbara is a rare gem, that others aspire to be like. Her warm heart and zest for life will be missed.
