

Bobbie Jean Saffell, 88, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025. Born on November 28, 1936, she was the beloved daughter of Alton Stanfill and Truie Dee Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents, her devoted husband of 61 years, Earl Saffell, and her son, Mark Saffell.
Bobbie was a woman of warmth, kindness, and an adventurous spirit. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life playing bingo, fishing, watching birds, and butterflies. The Lake of the Ozarks held a special place in her heart, as she made it a tradition to visit every other weekend. She also treasured spending time with her family, creating memories that will be held close forever.
Bobbie is survived by her loving daughters, Wendy Oloteo and Lisa Saffell (Mary Burlison); her daughter-in-law, Laura Saffell; her adored grandchildren, Clayton, Spencer, Tara, Joshua, Samuel, and Sara; and her eight precious great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest pride, and she filled their lives with love, laughter, and unwavering support.
Bobbie married the love of her life, Earl Saffell, on July 3, 1954, and their bond remained strong and true until his passing in 2015. Now, she is reunited with him, as well as their son, Mark, in eternal peace.
Her legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Bobbie will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
A Celebration of Life for Bobbie will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074.
