It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Clara Moonsamy, 97 years old on November 14, 2022 in Bridgeton, Missouri. Shortly, before her passing she was showered by the love and affections of her family. She was a very devoted mother to her beautiful children, Louise Wright (Arthur), Juliann Dixon and Robert Moonsamy (Geraldine); grandmother she flourished her love and fondness towards her grandchildren Wachisha, Michelle, Clara, Dwan, Denise, Rachael, Dennis Jr and Dana; she is also survived by a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Her effortless to go above and beyond in any task was admired and being a matriarch of her family was highly respected. Clara had such a strong, powerful spirit and willingness for life. She was admired for her uniqueness in each and every way. Clara shared a adoration for stylish clothes and accessories, her home and unique style of decorating, as well as, family dogs whom she tremendously cared for throughout the years.
In her later years, she enjoyed the comforts of life in the home of her son and daughter-in-law. There she received the companionship and care she needed from her only son Robert. He assured her that her last years would be without any worries or concerns. As promised, she lived a life without any suffering or despairs. Clara has always had a special bond with her son Robert, whom she held dearly in her heart.
She preceded in death her parents Louise and Leroy Huff, her husband James Moonsamy and four sisters and two brothers.
God has truly blessed her in her 97 years, as well as, everyone she has touched. No loss can be expressed into words but she shall remain in the heart of her loved ones until they meet again.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.alexanderstlouis.com for the Moonsamy family.
