

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Enrique Castillo Lopez, who left us on February 6, 2025. Enrique was born on July 15, 1980, and will be remembered as a strong, resilient, and intensely private individual who never wanted to burden others with his troubles. He was a beloved son, brother, father, and uncle whose life was cut short.
Enrique leaves behind a heartbroken family who cherished him deeply. Enrique is survived by his sons, Enrique Castillo and Mateo Castillo his parents Salvador Castillo and Geraldine Lopez and his siblings Silvia Castillo Lopez, Maria Castillo Lopez and Francisco Castillo Lopez and his nieces and nephews. They along with countless friends and acquaintances, mourn the loss of this passionate man.
He cherished watching boxing matches and soccer games whenever he had free time. Enrique was an ardent supporter of the soccer team Chivas. As a devoted outdoorsman, Enrique found solace and peace in activities such as hunting and fishing. He loved visiting his hometown in Mexico, a place he held close in his heart, and seeing his parents and brother.
Throughout his life, Enrique’s resilient spirit shone through. Despite battling health issues, he never wavered in his determination to face his challenges head-on. Days away from receiving a new liver, Enrique’s life was unfortunately cut short, leaving a void that can never be filled.
While we mourn the loss of Enrique, we also celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, courage, and an unyielding spirit. His legacy will always live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A visitation for Enrique will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074, followed by a funeral service at 12:30 PM, with burial at Mt Lebanon Cemetery.
