Jalea was born on January 12, 1997 in St. Louis, Missouri to Joli Devon-Hunter and Jason Loeffelman, who survive. Also surviving is her daughter Ziyza Ta-lea Hunter-Pittman, eight siblings; Jamika Hunter, Robert Hunter, Rochelle Hunter, Tyr Hunter, Brandon Rhodes, Jalen Loeffelman, Jayla Partee and Kalani Loeffelmann-Hunter, maternal grandparents; Rochelle Custard and James Hunter Sr., paternal grandmother, Deborah Loeffelman, an uncle, Claude Custard and two aunts; Nicole Loeffelman and Lisa (Bill) Loeffelman-Bart, as well as other relatives and dear friends.
Jalea was preceded in death by her grandfather; Randy Loeffelman and her uncle, James Hunter Jr.
Jalea was a free spirit, loved everyone and was always kind. She had a love for candle making but her greatest love was for her family especially her daughter Ziyza. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A visitation for Jalea will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Alexander - White - Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM.
