Joan Ann Roy, age 88, of Wood River, Illinois passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023. She was born May 11, 1934 to James and Francis (nee: Coni) Degunia. They have preceded her in death, as has her loving husband Norman Roy, her sons Kieth and Brian, and her siblings Janet Degunia, Evelyn Otto, Jean Degunia, and Dolly Gray. Joan is survived by: her children: Doug Roy (Linda), Chris Roy, Linda Shive (Mike), Scott Roy; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Joan loved working with arts and crafts, including crocheting, making calendars, and other handiwork. She enjoyed working puzzles with her husband and other family members.
