Loyd George Turner

Loyd George Turner, age 83, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022. Loyd was born August 5, 1938 to Lloyd Turner and Opal Ura (Philpott) whom have preceded him in death along with his step-mother, Carrie “Kay” Turner his sister, Jean Robertson and in-laws Henry and Helen Roseman.

Loyd will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 30 years, Jean (Roseman) and his step-son Robert (Laura) Kenney III, his sons Nick and Kevin Turner, and daughter Rebecca (Bryant) Wright. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Kyle, Lydia, and Isaac and one great grandchild.

Loyd has worked many years as an avionic technicians for several airlines and eventually retired from American Airlines. He had a passion for life and kept his faith through it all. He was also very passionate about gardening and enjoying the fruits of his labor. Loyd is a veteran for the United States Air Force.

A visitation for Loyd will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Alexander - White - Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, Missouri. A funeral service following at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery following the service for the committal with full military honors.
