Mary Illey Ottmer

In 1968 she married Francis Russell Ottmer III. They welcomed 3 children into the world James, Mei-Li and Richard. She worked hard raising and providing for her children. Mary had an entrepreneurial spirit and a love for cooking and preparing food. After divorcing in 1979 she successfully owned and operated several restaurants. Her Passion for cooking and preparing food provided much nourishment for many people. There was no limit to her giving with her abundant heart and boundless spirit. Mary fiercely loved her children and touched the lives of many people.

She is survived by James (Debby) Ottmer, Mei-Li (Justin) Hyers, and Richard Ottmer.

Grandchildren Alex and Jacob Hyers and Vivian and Elsa Ottmer,

Jennifer (Doug) Winston, Sarah (Jason) Wacker, Elizabeth (Shawn) Walker, Micah (Stacy) Holper. Alan Reynolds faithful friend and companion.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 4th, memorial service will be held immediately following. Services will be held at Alexander Mullen Funeral Home 11101 Saint Charles Rock Road. Interment of her ashes will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Ellisville, Missouri at 11:45 a.m. following the services at the Funeral Home.
