Michelle Renee Pitts passed away Monday July 25, 2011 at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center at the age of 46 after a long battle with cancer. The loving daughter of Leenora Pitts (nee Lovejoy) and the late Kenneth Ray Pitts Sr.; loving sister of Darlene Pitts, and the late Kenneth Ray Pitts Jr.; dear aunt of Shannon Nicole Pitts, Kenneth Ray Pitts III and Joshua Preston Pitts; our dear niece, cousin and friend who will be greatly missed. Michelle was preceded in death by her grandparents John Preston Pitts, Willie Jewel Pitts and Cora L Gutshall.
Michelle is also survived by her four legged children, Caprice, Passion and China. Michelle was the owner of the Barking Lot Grooming Service in Kirkwood and her kennel, Infiniti Shelties. She served on the board of the Jung Society of St. Louis, and was an avid gardener, though she didn’t like to do the heavy work. She loved traveling, cruising the ocean, going to Tori Amos concerts and spending time with her many groups of friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2011 from 1:00 PM until time of a memorial service at 2:00 PM Alexander White-Mullen Funeral Home 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd. St. Ann, Missouri.
