

Norma Jean Leslie was born July 2nd, 1932, in Hawk Point, Missouri to George and Jessie Duvel. She attended school in Troy and after graduation became a telephone operator. She later moved to Arizona where she continued to be a telephone operator. She met and married Glen Edward Leslie and they were happily married for 37 years. Norma continued to live in Arizona but eventually sold her home and moved back to Missouri. She lived in Lakeview Estates in order to be close to her brother and his wife. She later moved to Heritage Point Estates where she lived for over 9 years. Norma became ill and went to heaven June 17th at approximately 6:30 am.
She is survived by her brother Tom Duvel and his wife Beverly. She is survived by nephews and nieces Randy Duvel and wife Bonnie, Debbi Schwaab and husband Keith, Rebecca Roberts and her husband Terry, Mike Duvel, Terry Duvel and wife Trisha, and Tina Tucker and husband Clifford. She is also survived by brother David Duvel and wife Patty and their daughter Wanda and son Ron. There are many great nieces and nephews as well.
She was preceded in death by sister in law, Sherley Duvel, her parents George and Jessie Duvel, and nephew Johnny Duvel. Norma Jean would have been 91 in about 2 weeks.
