Oliver Sylvester Aubuchon

Oliver was the beloved son of the late George and Elizabeth Aubuchon; loving husband of over 65 years to Irene Aubuchon (nee: Beck); devoted dad of Brenda (Gary) Wagner, Diane (Wes) Sanders, and Donna (Steve) Vehige; treasured grandpa of Craig (Jennifer) Wagner, Eric (Stefanie) Wagner, Rebecca Vehige, Heather Vehige (Forrest Thrasher), Joshua Sanders, and Matthew Vehige; and dearest great grandpa of Jessica Wagner, Luke Wagner, Allison Wagner, Logan Wagner, and Barret Wagner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ollie is also preceded in death by all of his siblings, Maurice Aubuchon, Irma Kern, Lester Aubuchon, Irene Farrell, and Iggy Aubuchon.

Oliver went straight to work right after grade school and, when he was old enough, he enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country during World War II. After serving in the military, he went on to work for Miller Brewing Company as a truck driver, distributing Miller products throughout the St. Louis area. He worked for Miller Brewing Company for over 22 years before retiring in 1987. When Ollie wasn’t working, you could find him bowling, playing horseshoes, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. Ollie was truly a great man who cherished his wife, Irene, and enjoyed every moment spent with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
