Robert Starr, Sr. (born May 15, 1945) passed away on May 29, 2021, following a brave battle with Alzheimer's disease. Bob was born in East St. Louis, IL and graduated from Ritenour High School. He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force. Bob had career as an airplane mechanic, retiring from Boeing in 2014.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Shirley and grateful children Robert, Jr. (Alicia), Roy, Terry (Sharon), Jerry (Dianne) and Debbie (Rich) as well as his grandchildren Robert III, Christy, Lisa, Colton, Dax, Justin and Mitchell.
Bob was a kind and generous man who will be missed by all who knew him. At his request no services are scheduled. Any contributions in his memory should be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
