Robert "Bobby" J. Valle Jr.

Fortified in the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, Robert "Bobby" J. Valle Jr., age 79, of Florissant, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert, Sr., and Laura (nee Robert) Valle, his wife, Jayne Valle, a sister, Anita “Chum” Mukes, and a nephew, Roderick Bolden.

Bobby leaves behind his beloved children; Lynn Hambrough, Monica Peterson, Justin Valle, Kristopher Clounch, Victor Valle, Breyanna Valle, Zaria Valle, and Peter Valle. He is also survived by his six grandchildren; his nieces and nephews, great- nieces and nephews, along with his sisters, Dorothy Valle Campbell, Victoria Valle, and Bonnie Valle; his god-daughter, Dominque Hall; and special mention to the mother of his children, Elynda Valle, who continued to be very supportive in caring for Bobby.

Bobby, a devoted family man, left a lasting legacy defined by love, compassion, and generosity. His devotion to family was the cornerstone of his life, as he extended his love to his biological children and the adopted and foster children, embodying the true spirit of familial bonds. Bobby dedicated his life to service for many years, working diligently at the Cold Water Treatment Plant in Black Jack, Missouri. His commitment to his profession reflected his strong work ethic and a sense of responsibility.

Football, especially his beloved Mizzou Tigers, held a special place in Bobby’s heart. His enthusiasm for the game was contagious, creating cherished memories for family and friends during game days. Beyond his professional and sports interests, Bobby had a passion for cooking and it brought him joy to share his meals with the ones he loved.

As we mourn the loss of Bobby, let us remember the love he shared with his family and the impact he had on the community. His legacy lives on through the bonds he forged and the memories he leaves behind. May he rest in eternal peace.

A visitation for Bobby will be held Thursday, December 7, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Alphonsus Liguori "Rock" Catholic Church, 1118 N. Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63106. A Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 AM, at the same location. After mass, a committal service will follow at Calvary Cemetery and Mausoleum, 5239 W. Florissant Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63115. Following the burial, a Repast will be held at the United Church of Christ, 3115 Elm Street, St. Charles, MO 63301.
