Sharon S. Otten (nee Inukai), 70, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mitsuko Inukai and the love of her life, Lawrence (married October 15, 1983). Sharon is survived by her brother, Gerald (Leslie) Inukai. She was a beloved Great Aunt, Aunt, Niece, Cousin, Sister-in-Law and friend.
Sharon was born, raised and lived her entire life in the St. Louis area. Sharon retired as a clerk from the St. Louis County court system. She and Larry had many adventures together which included traveling the world, skiing in their younger days and even sky diving in middle age. Sharon would strike up a conversation with anyone, particularly at craft shows which she liked to frequent. She loved her teddy bear collection. Hearts, happy faces and her flower arrangements filled her suroundings. Sharon was a supporter of the Marine Corp in which Larry served. Her smile and friendly conversation will be missed.
Services are being delayed due to COVID restrictions but her life will be celebrated by the community who loved her in the near future. Memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project are appreciated.
