Teresa Papadopoulos

Teresa A. Papadopoulos, born February 11, 1930, and previous resident of Florissant, MO, accepted her invitation to be with the Lord, peacefully, at the age of 82 years the morning of Monday, January 28, 2013. She was discharged from Christian Hospital Northeast to return to Delmar Gardens North Nursing Home to remain close to her husband as she prepared for her transition to heaven. Born in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Joseph and Rose Dineen. Following her graduation from high school, she met the love of her life George Papadopoulos whom she married in 1953. Mr. & Mrs. Papadopoulos’ 60th Wedding Anniversary would have been celebrated July 18, 2013.

Her life, as radiant a her favorite color (yellow), was filled with the charges of being a loving wife and friend to her life-long husband George Papadopoulos, faithful mother and guiding light to Rosemarie LaVallee of Ballwin, MO, Michael G. Papadopoulos of Overland Park, KS, and Steven Papadopoulos of Saint Peters, MO, and wonderful sister, mother-in-law, aunt, grandmother, and friend to a host of family and friends honoring her life and memory. As a devout Roman Catholic, her life was a sweet embrace of her grace and faithfulness to the charges that brought fulfillment to her existence. Prior to her passing, under the wonderful care of her daughter, Rosemarie, her husband, Kenneth, their daughter, Katherine, and Teresa's son, Michael, she received great attention and support for her comfort and quality of life up to the point and time at which Teresa accepted her invitation to be with the Lord.
