LANGE, William James, 90, born November 9, 1924 died peacefully Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Son of the late Joseph F. Lange and Verna (nee Daniels) Lange; beloved husband of the late Margaret M. (nee Bright); loving father of Barbara (Marshall) Alley; dear grandfather of Gregory (Kelly) Voelkel, Justin (Felicia) Voelkel, and Dallas (Julie) Alley; great grandfather of Dean Voelkel, Warren Voelkel, Leina Alley, and Declan Alley; dear brother of Jane Whicher and the late Jay, Tom, Jack, Bob, and Dorothy Lange and Pat Markham, Marge Dahn; dear cousin, uncle, and friend to many.
Bill was a retired Jennings police officer for many years, including many of those years as a detective and Officer McGruff the Crime Dog. He took great pride in the roses he grew and learned to play piano by ear.
SERVICES: Visitation 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2015. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. at ALEXANDER-WHITE-MULLEN Funeral Home 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd., St. Ann, MO 63074.
