To the family of Arthur Toth, my deepest sympathy for the loss of your dear loved one.  I remember Mr. Toth being a very kind and gentle man, while I was a student at Beacon Elementary School in Harper Woods in the 1970's.  May the light of Christ shine upon him.

Arthur Toth, you became my boss once you became the Superintendent of Harper Woods School District and what a delight to have you enter the building every morning with a smile on your face and your kindness toward the staff who found they were no longer restricted to entering our dept.
The entire atmosphere throughout the school district was uplifting and became fun to go to work and   doing your job for the benefit of the children's education and the staff was there to do  their part and feel appreciated .
You continued to be a part of the District Alumni after you retired and watch the children become adults with families of their own and know you would always be in their hearts as a dedicated man who cared.


You will  always be Mr. Toth to me and  (whether you ever realized it or not) the hundreds of students that you mentored at Beacon School and in Harper Woods School District. I remember our conversations in your office fondly. You taught me a lot even when I was just a grade school student. You were caring and always asked how my mom was doing.  And I’m sure I speak for a lot of students, we were excited to hear when your were selected as Superintendent.  RIP Mr Toth.  Peace, prayers and blessings to your family. 

Mr. Toth was my elementary school principal. I went to Beacon School in Harper Woods in the 1970's. He was a nice man with a pleasant demeanor. 🙂 I remember he always wore a suit. I would like to offer his family my condolences and I wish Mr. Toth peace.

Thoughts and prayers are with your family. You were a man of honor, Mr. Toth you will always be in my memory. I had you as my principal and though adulthood whenever we would always remember me and ask about my brothers and parents. You were an icon at Harper Woods. May you Rest In Peace.

Although he will always be with us, Mr. Toth's passing is a tremendous loss. My heart goes out to his family, and all of his loved ones. What an amazing man! Growing up in Harper Woods, I have such wonderful memories of him, not only as a Principal and Superintendent, but as a truly kind soul. The "Student of the Month" lunches are one of my favorite memories of him! He was always happy to listen, to help, to encourage and inspire! I remember how sad we all were when he retired from his position as Principal at Beacon. The school had a retirement celebration for him with all the kids. I still remember him standing there, holding his balloons, and the touching speech he gave. Such a blessing to know him! Thank you for being you, Mr. Toth! Rest in beautiful peace. 💞

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Gloria Anna Bella. He was born on October 10, 1928, in Barton, Ohio to the proud parents of Alexander and Mary Toth.

He was also preceded in death by his brother Alex and his wife Olga Toth.
