Bette Maxwell

Bette M. Maxwell, age 90, passed away on July 22, 2020. She is survived by her children: Tamara (Jeff) Smith, Kimberly (Tim) Haydett, Sandra (Dave) Schatzberg; grandchildren: Steve (Megan), Nicole (John), Ashley (Doug), Megan, Alyssa (Will), John, Katie (Joe), and Jason; great-grandchildren: Blake, Lance, Haley, Kelan, Kelsey, Carter, Coulson, Easton, and Kyler; and siblings: Gail Stanton and Warren Boothman. Also left to cherish her memory are many loving nieces and nephews. Bette was preceded in death by her husband Willard; parents: Clifford and Mary Boothman; and siblings: Eleanor Thompson, Dolores Campbell, and Dennis Boothman. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. Bette had a big heart and loved crocheting, playing cards, “Yahtzee baby,” and a dedicated QVC shopper. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a eulogy at 7:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores.
