Betty Joe Mills, age 79, of Eastpointe, Michigan passed away on June 26, 2018, in Detroit, Michigan. She was born on July 16, 1938, in Knoxville, Tennessee to the proud parents of James and Irene Barnett. Betty is the loving wife of the late Hershel Mills. She is the beloved mother of the late James Wells. Betty is the cherished grandmother of Asia Wells, India (Daniel K.) Hoard, and Wyatt Wells. She is the dear great grandmother of Bethany Brown, Daniel J. Hoard, and Audrina Hoard. Betty will be missed by many family and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday July 5, 2018, beginning with a gathering at 9:00 am, until time of service at 10:00 am, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, MI 48081.
