Carolyn Marie Florin, born on December 13, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan, to parents Francis and Joyce Sheehan. Carolyn passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 69. She was a resident of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan.
Carolyn is the beloved wife of 47 years to Michael Florin. Loving mother to Danielle (Erik) Thoin, Molly (Patrick) Murphy, and Lucas (Ben Williams) Florin. Cherished grandmother to Easton Thoin, Liam Murphy, Beckett Thoin, and Cameron Murphy. Dear sister to Timothy Sheehan, Christopher Sheehan, and Ann (Richard) Booth.
Carolyn enjoyed camping with her family, spending time with friends and kept a beautiful garden, appreciated by all. Her grandsons were her pride and joy and 'Grami' was always the number one fan at all their activities. Carolyn will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
