At the time of her death, she was battling breast cancer while still working as a caregiver for Visiting Angels of Oakland. She cared deeply for her clients and was treasured by them, their families, and her co-workers.
Cathy relished spending time with and doting on her grandkids. She also loved reading, music, gardening, and art and developed a passion and pleasure for playing music, caring for plants, and sketching and painting in her later years.
