Clifford Charles Allen

Clifford Charles Allen, a resident of Shelby Twp, Michigan, passed away on October 30, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on December 30, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, Clifford was the beloved son of Jeanette and Walter Allen.

In 1960, Clifford married Bessie Allen (Beninati), and together they shared 62 years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Bessie Allen. Clifford is survived by his loving children: Wendy Allen, Mary (Geof) Schuetz, Shelly (Rob) Curtiss; caring grandchildren: Joe Schuetz, Andrew Schuetz, Blake (Alyssa) Schuetz, Aaron (Carolyn) Schuetz, Sean (Jessica) Norris, Christopher (Brittany Rottier) Norris, David Norris, Timothy (Keighan) Norris, McKenna (Noah) Murphy, Mason Curtiss; dear great-grandchildren: Estella, Alice, Lukas, Lucy, Ezra, Levon, Margot, Tessa, Morrigan, Lucas, Odin, Ethan, Kylie, Jaxon, Coleson; and siblings: Virginia Rowland, James (Joann) Allen, and Walter Allen.

He was a dedicated serviceman, having served in the United States Air Force and National Guard. Clifford bravely participated in the Vietnam War and held the rank of Senior Master Sergeant as an aircraft mechanic. His career spanned 42 years at the Selfridge Air National Guard base in the 191st Squadron. Beyond his military service, he was a skilled master electrician and carpenter. Clifford was also a member of VFW Post #6802 in Richmond, Michigan, where he served as Commander.

Visitation, Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. He will be buried at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
