David Gerard Schneider

David Gerard Schneider, 58 years old of St Clair Shores beloved son of Larry and Charlotte passed away April 5, 2017. David is survived by siblings: Rebecca (Edward) Cotter, Michael (Jayme) Schneider, Christine (Charles) Sharp, Jeanne (Steven) Loef, Eric (Susan) Schneider. Loved and adored by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by a brother, Larry Schneider, Jr. He attended Bovenschen School in Warren and was a 1985 graduate of Lutz School in Clinton Township. David was active in the Michigan Special Olympics, holding twenty seven medals including 11 golds. He loved competing in Floor Hockey, Track, Swimming and Bowling. David was named Volunteer of the Year in 2003 for ten years of service to the Macomb County Health Department. David retired after fifteen years of volunteer service in 2008. More recently David volunteered at the Christian Trinity Food Pantry of Eastpointe, MI. Visitation will be in the Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St Clair Shores Monday April 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery will take place at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Christian Trinity Food Pantry 21770 Kelly Rd.
