Edna Helen LaCroix McLaughlin

Edna H. McLaughlin (nee LaCroix), age 98 of Atlanta, Michigan, formerly of St. Clair Shores, passed away April 20, 2016. She was born June 15, 1917 the daughter of Robert & Margaret (nee Parent) LaCroix. Beloved wife of the late William H. McLaughlin. Edna was proud of her heritage, a direct descendant of the Campau, Tucker, LaCroix, and Parent families. She enjoyed reading and was an avid bowler receiving many trophies and pins for her accomplishments. Edna was a very giving and caring person, she could always be counted on to help friends and family when needed. Loving mother of Lora Zea of Atlanta, Margaret (Walter) Sabisch of St. Clair Shores, and William McLaughlin of Atlanta; Mother-in-law of Theresa McLaughlin of Warren; sister of Robert LaCroix of Oregon; Grandmother of 11, great-grandmother of 19, and great-great grandmother of four. She was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Hodnett, Son, Edward McLaughlin, Grand-daughter April Sabisch, Brother Leo; Sisters: Grace, Mary Louise Schatzberg, Sarah (Bernice) Gagne, Roberta Dickens and Margaret “Jackie”. Visitation Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 5-9 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores. Funeral Monday, April 25, 2016 at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery, Clinton Township, Michigan.
