He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Rosalind M. Brunsman; his children; the late Michael Brunsman, Molly (Keith) Claeys, Kurt (Fran) Brunsman, Paul (LeaAnna) Brunsman, Julie (Scott) McMenamin, John (Karen) Brunsman, Karl (Tracy) Brunsman, Hallie (Mike) Bradley and Eric (Pam) Brunsman. He leaves behind 22 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren.
“Big Ed” was a quiet man with a heart bigger than life itself. He enjoyed camping, swimming and spending time at his summer home on Lake Huron. He also made sure to attend all the family’s sporting events. Ed enjoyed walking at Metro Park and watching college and professional sports.
Ed was a World War II veteran that served in the Marine Corp, Third Marine Division.
He was a graduate from St. Charles Borromeo High School and attended Walsh College.
A private funeral Mass will be held in Ed’s honor at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated in memory of Edward to Our Lady of Hope Parish or Shrine of Jesus - Divine Mercy in Clinton Township, Michigan.
