

Eldon "Dutch" Yageman 87, of St. Clair Shores passed away Monday May 5, 2014 at St. John Hospital. Dutch was born April 23, 1927 in Kinde, Michigan to the late August and Dollie (Toner) Yageman. He married Lena Basta on September 11, 1954 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Detroit. Lena preceded him in death on June 17, 2011. He was a long time tool and die maker for the auto industry and owned Proto Production Mold in Warren. Dutch was also a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Army, stationed in Berlin Germany. He is survived by his daughter Linda of Addison Township; brother Elwood "Bud" of Bad Axe; and sisters, Arlene "Red" Clancy of Sterling Heights, Audrey Blair of Fayetteville, New York, Wilma "Lee" Street of Pleasant Hill California, and Shirley Durr of Palm Harbor, Florida. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and in-laws. and he was preceded in death by his brothers, Willet "Biff" and Max "Bummy" and his sister Orla McGee. Dutch was an avid Tigers Fan. He also enjoyed playing Euchre, and hunting at his cabin in Gaylord. Visitation will be Friday, May 9 2014, from 3 pm to 8 pm in Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores. There will be an in-state period from 9:30 until 10 am. Funeral Mass in St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, St. Clair Shores, Saturday, May 10 at 10 am. Army military honors will be rendered after the Funeral Mass in St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church. Burial will be Monday May 12 at 11:30 in the Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly Michigan.
