Today is October 11 2022....thinking of u  Dad....your birthday in a few days....I've always loved fall..the colors so beautiful...but thinking of u especially because it's your birthday month. The picture I posted 6 years ago is my son Christopher and the baby is my granddaughter Julia....she will be 25 years old soon...so hard to believe!! But the best thing was she got to know her great grandparents well....not to many people get to spend time and holidays into their adult hood knowing their great grandparents as she did....memories are never forgotten..missing my parents and my Aunt Mary everyday of my life...Life isn't quite the same...but they would want us to live it to the best we can...Love your daughter Diane✝️✨

Time has passed but your memory never fades from my mind. All the lessons you taught me remain in my life as I have passed them on to Vinny and Andy. And now Vinny will pass them on to his beautiful daughter Kate. I'm 61 years old now and can see the logic in everything you told me. Your smile, your Italian ways of doing things, your love for your children and wife will never be forgotten.
I feel as though all the years we spent together painting were more special than I ever really knew. But I know now for sure why God put me there with you. You taught me tough love, you gave me insight, you made me a real man. How can I ever thank you enough? I know you are watching over us all. My love for you is endless. I miss you so very very much!

My Dad.......a good man...a hard worker...very disciplined....passionate about life....his favorite things....his family.....his friends....good italian food...sports...( hockey)....music....(frank sinatra...pavarotti...placido domingo.....andrea  boccelli....ll volo.  People have always asked me       about my father. My old co workers, my friends    ,                                   neighbors. My dad had a great smile, a great    personality. He loved talking with people. He could      strike up a conversation with anyone , anywhere.  He had good morals , good ethics and he past  those things on to his children. My dad also was a   religious man. He prayed privately. He was a proud  catholic.  He lived his life setting examples for his  kids and others. God gave us about 3 months with  him after mom passed february 29-16. Its really  hard. Life changed so fast this year. My dads sister  our Aunt mary, also passed october 12 2015. We  were all close.      I started missing my dad the minute he passed away. His smile,his laugh,his famous  preaching to us all.  The Greatest thing about My Dad, is that he was Genuine . Nothing phoney. He was, who he was and proud to be. I tell my grandaughter julia, the lord made each one of us special individuals. Like stripes on a zebra, no two are the same.  Were all special in our own way and we all bring something special into this world.  Dad passed peacefully at the-Divine Mercy time.   Their altogether now.. no worries ..no pain...just  peaceful love.  Its up to us to follow his legacy  now.....  The lords blessings to you-Dad- forever.  Love Diane

Diane -  We just now heard of the passing of both your mom and dad recently.  We are neighbors of your parents (you used to do my hair!!)  I am so sorry this is late but please accept our sincere condolences.  It must have been very hard on your family to lose your parents so close together.  May they rest in peace and may you and your family remember the happy times to bring smiles to your faces.

From his buddies in the old italian neighborhood to hockey people.  I appreciated how some of made your way over to me even as i  am talking with others. His old neighborhood friends, men and women,showed up.Wonderful hearing all the stories. So many of u came ,my co workers ,my old neighborhood friends. The jackson family, mizorowitz family, the hospice nurses the social worker.  my parents good  neighbors, Absolutely wonderful all of u!!!   Thank u so much!!

There is joy in heaven that Mr. & Mrs. D are together again. Those here on earth are sad and empty because we no longer have them with us. Prayers and strength to the whole DiCristofaro family.

Jim and I came to know Frank (the elder) through his son, Frank (the younger), when the latter was first coaching the Cabrini Monarchs Hockey Team back in the 1980ies.  He and Sheila were present at many of the games, and over the years, we came to know him as a wise and learned man when it came to hockey.  The Italian culture is many things ... many are great cooks, some make their own wine, a few become famous tenors, artists, architects, physicians, lawyers, etc., and in America, almost all Italians have a vegetable garden behind their garage, where they challenge each other to see who can grow the largest tomato to make into "gravy" or "sauce," depending from which region of Italy your ancestors originated.  Beyond all that, (and having been married to an Italian for almost 50 years), I realize Italians value FAMILY above all else, and what a beautiful family he and Sheila raised.  To Diane, Frank, Russell, and Danny, your spouses, children, and grandchildren:  Remember him, Release him, Rejoice for him.  He is at peace.  My prayers are with you, and may loving memories bring you comfort.
