I spent the best 10 years of my life with this kind, loving soul.  We remained friends.  I send my condolences to his daughter and siblings.  I will miss our late night calls.  He was the sweetest man alive.  He cared for everyone around him.  My heart is also broken.

Our sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers are with Gary, his family and friends. We have very fond memories of Gary over the years, especially the way he treated us and our kids as if they were his extended nieces and nephew. We also had the honor of hiring Gary to perform several repairs on our home. His workmanship and part of his legacy is now part of our home.  Gary was also the ultimate fan to have around during Red Wings games. May the love of others surround his family and friends during this difficult time. I am unable to attend Gary's funeral.  So sorry for your loss, he will be missed by many,  His kind heart and always helping others was appreciated by many. My thoughts and prayers to the family as you go through this time of grief.

A lifetime ago, but I remember it like yesterday.

My condolences to the family. I have known Gary for 8 years, he was there for me when I needed him and I for him.  A hard worker, always doing for everyone, helping when ever you needed him. His daughter was his world.  He was a part of my heart. I will miss him so much.  Fly high good man. I love you 

Sending love from every single dog at Stillmeadow, Gary will be missed. He always had an ear scratch or a hearty pat for them and usually a cookie for them too if they were lucky. During walks they made a bee-line right to him. Not for the cookie or the pat, but because they adored him. Dogs are great judges of character.
