

Born in Detroit in 1934, Gina graduated from high school in 1952 and joined the work force, taking a job with Huron Cement as a key punch operator on their new IBM “Miracle Machines”. When Huron Cement left their Detroit office, she started a long and happy work relationship with The Ford Motor Company Retirement Board. In the early 1970’s, she met Andrew (Drew) Falvey, and they married on February 14, 1974. Together they enjoyed traveling, entertaining and spending time with her many, many nephews and nieces and their children, where she ably filled the role as mother and grandmother to all.
Gina was predeceased by her parents, George and Waheeda Brady, her sisters. Theresa (Thomas) Karam, Henit (Harvey) Timmons, Sally (Lester) Milkani, and brothers David (Louise) Brady, Joseph Brady
She is survived by her husband, Drew, in- laws Jack (Cindy) Falvey, Mary Jane (George) Beardsley, Jill (Frank) Staffordand her nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews Thomas (Carol) Karam, Ann (David) Baxter, Debbie Brady, George (Peggy) Brady, Joann (Steve) Brown, Judy (Gordy) Peterson, Lisa (Greg) Bourgoin, Toni Frawley, Joe Brady, Teri (Jeff) Robertson, Tom Karam (Shannon), Kelly (Jeff) DeMasse, and Jeri (Brian) Mychajluk.
She will be remembered for her great sense of humor, her kindness and generosity, her ability to make everyone feel special and her defiance of the norms of the day to follow her own path. She was a truly remarkable woman who will be missed by the many friends and family members whose heart she touched.
There will be a Memorial Funeral Mass on Monday, July 10 at 10 a.m. in St Joan of Arc Catholic Church following an "in state" period beginning at 9:30.
