James Greer

James O. Greer, age 97, passed away May 10, 2020. Devoted husband to late wife Lillie for over 78 years. Loving father to his children: Rose (Mike) Yates, Yvonne (Dan) Kolodziejski and Connie Greer. Dear grandfather to: David, James, Daniel and Ericka; and proud great grandfather to 10; and 5 great-great grandchildren.

James main pride in life was his wife and family. He enjoyed family functions, various home projects and tending to his garden. Known for his phenomenal tomatoes, his crop often fed all family, friends and neighbors. James worked as a machinist until the age of 77. James was also a veteran of WW II and survivor of the Battle of the Bulge.

He and his friendly smile will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
