James Weldon Keeling, age 84, passed away on January 24, 2022. He was born on March 5, 1937 in Highland Park, Michigan to his late parents Ernest and Hazel Keeling. James is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Shirley; loving children: Michael and his wife Kimberly, Keith, Leslie and her husband Doug Hartman, Jeff; and grandsons: Kevin Temerowski and Alex Keeling. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, doing word searches, and above all spending time with his family. James retired in 2010 from the Eastpointe Reserve Police Department and from being a security officer at Cottage Hospital. He was a hardworking, loving, caring, and wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Entombment will take place immediately following at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Rd., Clinton Twp, MI, 48038.
