James was born in Detroit and graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1998. He went on to honor and serve his country as a US Marine.
James was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah M. Rush. He is survived by his father, James R. Rush; his daughter Alivia and his sister, Lisa Rush.
Fond memories of James will be cherished by his family and friends. His life will be celebrated at a memorial service to be announced at a future date.
