Katie and Family ,I am so sad to hear of your loss. Katie , you and Sandy have been in my thoughts for almost 25 years . Although we lost contact many years ago ..Your kindness was never forgotten. I'll never forget the Christmas Eve that a care package was placed on my door step with Cheese ,milk and holiday treats ! Hope that soon your tears will turn into wonderful memories to hold in your heart, just like the ones that have found a home in my heart over the years . I was so sad the hear of The Sandbaggers passing. Sandy, Katie and their wonderful family have been dear friends of our family forever.  The Lewis family has always been there for us, their friends and family through both sad and happy times.  Life's journey can be living hell at times.  However, The Sandbagger always keep a great attitude and was a truly giving man with his heart and sole to all he came across. That wonderful smile, giggle and laugh will be missed by all.  May God Bless John Lewis and his family. You will be missed by all and we will cherish the memories we have made with you..........Respectfully, Morgan Fussell, Jr. and family.

I will never forget the New Years Eve party, when Vinnie and I were the only kids there but still had some much fun with you year after year. Greatest part of the whole evening was at midnight when we would bang pots and pans together on the front porch. That's something that I will never forget. You will be missed dearly. I love you pops!!

I have so many beautiful memories of "Mr. Sandy" and Family.  I am sorry for your loss and my prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

I will miss you for the rest of my days. as I am sure you all will. It's hard to imagine not being able to have a conversation with you. To Katie and the kids and grandkids my thoughts and prayers are with you. Im sure he's surrounded by all the people we've loved and lost and they are having one heck of a party. There were 9 kids that occupied Swamp Hollow (Lake Chemung) so many years ago. Sandy was the oldest. He was my hero in many ways. Playing horseshoes, surfboarding, or knocking the little guys around---he was the big guy--we looked up to him. The smile on his face and that great laugh. Many years have passed but the memories are still fresh. Sandy was a tough act to follow. He will live in my memory forever.

Beth and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you..

You will be missed so much! I find peace that you found closure and allowed yourself to rest  your tired body for eternity.  We couldnt of asked for a better day when you passed. There was so much love in the house surrounding mom. We carried on with our gathering because we know that's what you wanted and why you waited for your grand exit until we were all there to let you know that it was ok to let go. I will think of you often and hope I find comfort from all the wonderful memories you have given to me and my family. I love you and will keep you in my heart forever!

I will miss our little talks and all of your opinions and advice (even when not  asked for.)  you are the best Dad anyone could ask for, thanks for everything you taught me and for always making me smile...I will miss you everyday for the rest of my life....until we meet again...I Love You

Can't tell you how saddened I am.
Katie and Sandy were such good friends and saw me through some pretty bad times and gave me some wonderful memories.
