

John B. (Jack) Radiger Jr. age 93 of Roseville died Sunday November 27, 2011. He was born on January 23, 1918 in Saskatchewan, Canada. Mr. Radiger came to Detroit as a young boy after his mother died. He was a proud Army veteran serving in the European Theater during WWII and was a Life Member of The Walter F. Bruce post #1146, in St. Clair Shores. Other memberships include the Gaelic League in Detroit, and The Gratiot Railroad in Macomb County .Mr. Radiger was awarded volunteer of the year in Macomb County for his 25 years of service to Bon Secours Meals on Wheels. Mr. Radiger is survived by a son John (Ruth) III; a daughter Deborah Marie (Jack) Cole; two grandchildren Geoffrey and Ryan Cole. He was predeceased by his first wife Elizabeth (Bork) Radiger, and second wifeTherese Mary (Brennan) Radiger. He was also predeceased by five siblings. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3-9 PM at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service. Additional visitation will take place from 9:30 am until time of mass 10:00 am at St. Margaret Catholic Church ( 13 Mile Rd. Between Harper and Little Mack), St. Clair Shores.
