Kenneth D. Clouse of St. Clair Shores, MI, passed away in the evening of December 17, at the age of 59. Born to Bob and Barbara Clouse at North Detroit General Hospital. Kenny grew up with his older brother Russ and younger sister Kimmy. He was a proud Eagle Scout of troop 1444. He attended Center Line High and graduated in 1983. While in high school, he was a diver and lifeguard. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army. During boot camp at Fort Knox, the company commander chose him as the top recruit out of all enlisted. He was honored as such at the boot camp graduation. Kenneth Clouse was a proud United States soldier. Promoted to Sergeant in 1991. He was a member of the National Guard for 15 years. He then met his wife of 30 years and had two beautiful children. Kenny was a master electrician and worked for Chrysler, happily retiring in 2023. He enjoyed the Wild West and fishing on his boat. Kenny recently became a grandfather to an adorable grandson, who he LOVED playing HotWheels with. And warning: don't step on his lawn, he WILL be watching!!!
Kenny is survived by his wife, two daughters, grandson, parents Bob and Barbara; Russ and Debbie, Kimmy and Andy, Mary and Mike, John and Lori, Mitchell, Rob, four nieces and four nephews and many friends.
There will be a service honoring Kenny on January 3, 2025 at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Visitation will be at 9:30am, mass at 10am. Kenny’s remains will be taken to Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI on Tuesday, January 7, 1pm.
