She was married to Tony for almost along as she had been waiting to be reunited with him in Heaven. (His passing was in 1973). She leaves behind many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including but not limited to Eve Allen (Mark), Kelly McCormick (Donny), Barbara Airey (Rev. Mark Airey), Jacqueline Anderson (Paul), Peggi Printz (Kyle), Kurt, Jesse, Tony, Fred, Lisa, Joshua, Katlyn, Lily, Gabby, Nikola, Jake, Luke, Dwayne, Britany, Jessie, Lexi, Emma, Hunter and Bella. Peggy was a high school graduate. She worked many jobs throughout her lifetime, including as a nurse’s aide, nanny, cook, homemaker. She was one of the founding members of Redeemer Lutheran Church in St. Clair Shores. She did not go easily into “that goodnight” as she was interested in what was going on in the world. She loved reading the Sunday New York Times, watching PBS, and enjoyed the music of Tony Bennett, Don Ho and tenors il Vola. She was a marvelous cook, baker and hostess. Her passion in life was for her family and friends. She was never happier than in her own home or with a baby in her arms. Her beloved Tony and son, Fred, and grandchildren Kurt Jr. and Leigh, predeceased her.
