Oh mom..... what can I say except its been a Lil over a yr since we have been able to see you and hear your voice.. not a day goes by where we don't think of you. We see this butterfly everytime the kids are swimming out back and we know its you. We know you are watching over us and keeping us safe. 
I want you to know that our family misses you everyday. I hope you're getting the balloons we send up to you. I also hope grandpa is driving you nuts! LOL you're probably gonna send something down for me for that coment..lol We know you are taking good care of the Lil one. Xoxoxox love you!

There isnt a day that goes by that I dont think of you. You were a mom to me. This its home like no other. I remember the good times we had tent camping. Or the times we painted dads toe nails banna yellow when he was sleeping. I will always miss you mom. And so will your best friend my mom.

So a little time has gone by and I think it's setting in a little that I can't call you and chat.  I don't even know where to start. Mom you took me in when I need a mom the most and since I couldn't have my real mom I got blessed with you, I'm truly blessed I got to have you apart of my life for the past 7 years not enough time if you ask me. Even tho I wasn't your blood that didn't matter to you.  I hope you're showing addy the nana way of doing things :) I love you and miss you so much

Martie was a very special to us, she was like our second daughter.  She's  been in our family for ever.  We watched her go from a child to a teenager to a beautiful woman. We were proud of her,  she brought such joy to our life, and we will miss her dearly.  Martie will forever be in our hearts, we love u honey.

Deepest Sympathies to all of the family and friends. I worked with Martie at St. Joe's and became very close. She was an amazing women and the strongest I have ever met. Even during everything she went through she was at work with a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed and remembered forever my everyone who knew her. Truly an amazing woman who will be in my heart forever.

Oh Mart there were so many great times, and still many more that should have been. You and Darren mean the world to me, it is because of the two you that allowed Dawn to enter into my life, and for that I could never thank you two enough. The four of us enjoyed the best friendship anybody could ever wish for, well over 30 years now. You truly helped complete my life and I will miss you greatly. Darren stay strong brother I love you, she will be with us forever and ever.

I worked for many years with Martie at WBNCC we often talked about her family and her dogs. I really missed her talks when she had stop working. I send all my deepest sympathy to the family. So sorry may God be with you at this time.

I don't even know where to begin...You have been there for me through so many things. You have always been a shoulder to lean on and always excellent at giving advice. I always knew you were cheering me on with whatever I was doing in life. You made sure that you were there for all of my big days! I can't begin to thank you for all of the things you have done for me. Rest in peace Aunt Martie, you will be greatly missed by many. I love you Aunt Martie.

My aunt Martie was the best god mother anyone could ask for.  She was there for all the important days of my life, and on days just to visit.  She always helped my mom plan and cook for my parties. She will always have a special place in my heart.  I love you aunt Martie.

Martie was on of the nicest people.  Always a smile on her face and an easy laugh.  We'll always remember the great times we all had at the office Christmas parties back in the day.  Rest in peace dear lady.

I can't even begin to thank you for everything you taught me with my mom while I was busy growing up. From getting through school and making my way into the "real world" I learned so much by watching you and my mom. The most important thing I think you both taught me (probably without even realizing it) is how important it is to have a friend in my life like you.  I will always carry this with me and can only hope that one day I can say I have a "Martie" in my life.

I think from the day Martie was born she came out with a bang.  She lived her life the way she wanted to live.  She told me last week that there was not one thing in her life that she would change, she loved every thing about it.  She told me how lucky she was.  Her life with Darren was everything to her.  She was blessed with two beautiful children, Michael and Sarah, and to have two grandchildren was really  something, she was proud of her family.   I knew Martie for over 40 years and I can honestly say that she was the one person that I could always count on. She was a true gem, my best friend.  Martie will be missed from my everyday life but I will always have her in my heart.   I love u Mart.
