
Marvin loved his family and had a strong work ethic. In his younger years he delivered milk and worked for Chrysler Corporation in the shipping department. Marvin worked many years at Grinnell Screw Products until he retired and moved to Arkansas. He enjoyed working in the yard. One of his fondest adventures with Roberta was their trip to Alaska pulling their fifth wheel travel trailer.
Marvin Served in the United States Army during WWII from April 1943- February 1946 with an armored field artillery unit as a cannoneer. He received two bronze battle stars during his service.
He is survived by his second wife Roberta; his daughter Karen (Donald) Kvorka and son Daniel Miller; his sister Eleanor Berry; grandchildren Kori (Eric), Aimee and Nicole; great-grandchildren Gavin and Ella and many nieces and nephews. Marvin was preceded in death by his wife Eileen (Walsh) and brother, Kenneth Miller.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 10:00am - noon at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. A memorial service will be held at noon. Inurnment 1:30pm at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to www.honorflightmichigan.com or to the Dignity Hunger drive (non perishable food drive) and Veteran Sweater Drive both being held at Kaul Funeral Home.
