Mary Ellen McDonough

Mary was an outstanding seamstress; she made beautiful clothes for herself and her family.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald McDonough. She is also survived by her children, Richard (Sharon) McDonough and Mary Anne (Joe) MacNeil. She has 4 grandchildren, Mary-Jo (Ed) Jeffrey, Richard McDonough II, William (Sue) MacNeil, and Edward (Misty) McDonough. There are 5 great grandchildren, Christina (Jeff) Pender, Carolyn Dale, Eddie Jeffrey, Sarah McDonough and Jacob McDonough. Her 4 great-great grandchildren include, Tierrah Pender, Sereniti Pender, Cashton Pender and Jesse Dale.

Her sister, the late Shirley Clark and her husband Dick, have 5 children that meant the world to her. They are Dennis Clark, Clair Rhodes, Lois Amador, the late Bill Clark, and David Clark.

Mary lived a long and fruitful life and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be Friday from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Clinton Township. Contributions may be made to Great Lakes Caring, 23885 Denton, Clinton Township, Michigan 48036, the hospice that took such good care of her.
