Michael Eric Dearnley, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on April 23, 2023. He was born April 7, 1955 in Sacramento, California to Edward and Jacqueline Dearnley. Beloved husband and soul mate of Laura (nee Gentry).
Loving father to Bryan (Jennifer) Dearnley, and Kevin (Jennifer) Dearnley and “Papa” to Bruce, Olivia, Eliana, and Theodore.
He is survived by his brother Edward (Mary) Dearnley, sister Dawn (Bill) Larsen, brother-in-laws Mike (Grace) Gentry and Larry (Sue) Gentry. Dear Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Michael’s passion and first love was Golf, and then bowling which brought out his competitive spirit. He loved hitting the courses and traveling with his friends and family.
After passing his CPA exam, Michael went into public accounting. For over 43 years, he developed many personal relationships with his clients, many who are now close friends. He is known for his generous spirit and his strong personal faith. He will be missed by many.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, beginning with a gathering at 11:00 am until time of service at 12:00 Noon, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
Visitation Friday, April 28, 2023 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
