Nancy Carol Becker, age 91, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on March 3, 2023. She was born in 1931, to the proud parents of Donald and Grace Doherty. Nancy was the beloved wife to the late Clarence Becker for 68 years. She is the loving mother to Kathleen (Randal) Cousineau and Richard Becker. Nancy is the cherished grandmother to Jeremy Cousineau and Chelsea Cousineau. Nancy was preceded in death by her two siblings Jean (George) Maiville and James Doherty.
Nancy attended Grosse Pointe South High School where she graduated in 1949. There she developed and cherished many long life friends. After high school she worked as the head teller for The Detroit Bank and Trust in Detroit. There she met Clarence and then married. Together they rebuilt 2 homes, which they lived in throughout their life and worked together on many projects. Nancy loved her family, reading, cooking and having dinner parties. She had a very good sense of humor and a beautiful smile.
Family will receive friends on Friday, March 17th, 2023, beginning with a memorial gathering at 10:00 am, until time of service at 12 noon, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
Memorials in memory of Nancy are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association and ProMedica Hospice.
