Richard Louis Narduzzi, age 82, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on May 11, 2021. He was born in Detroit on January 26, 1939, to Albano and Pearl Narduzzi. Beloved father of Michele (Daniel) Glinn, Mark (Stacey) Narduzzi, Michael (Cheryl) Narduzzi and Matthew (Colleen) Narduzzi. Cherished grandfather of Angela, Jessica, Melissa and Christina Glinn and Maria, Dominic and Gianna Narduzzi. Dear brother of Jack (Bobbi) Narduzzi, Velma (Robert) Auth, Delores (Thomas) Zelepis, Gloria (Henry) Zanardelli, Mary (the late Patrick) McEvoy, Barbara (Thomas) Murray, Patricia (Thomas) Kramer and Donna (Steve) Gatto. Richard served in the U.S. Army in Korea and joined the Detroit Fire Department afterwards. He was a lifelong firefighter, dedicated to the profession and retiring as a Battalion Chief with many awards and citations for bravery and life-saving. He enjoyed gardening, running, reading works of history and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by many family and friends. Richard will lie in state on May 19 beginning at 9:00 am until the time of funeral mass at 10:00 am, at Old St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 646 Monroe Street, Detroit, MI 48226.
