Richard Allen Newton, age 93, passed away on July 21, 2025. He was born on March 28, 1932, to his late parents Youell and Dorita Newton. Richard was the beloved husband of the late Beatrice. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, especially Linda Stubbs, Michael (Karen) Ribant, Alan (Emily Bramblett) Ribant, Karen (Tom), Tommy (Diane) and Tyler Course. Richard was a dear companion to the late Yvonne Juszkiewicz and her family. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Richard loved to travel, bowl (hitting a 300 hundred game twice), play poker, listen to music and relax at Harsens Island. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Capuchins or the VFW Bruce Post 1146. Visitation, Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a scripture service at 7:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Funeral Mass, Friday, August 1, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. (Instate 10:00 a.m.) at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 21100 Madison St., St. Clair Shores.
